Thunderbird

Thunderbird is a relative newcomer to the Interstellar Anti Gravity League (IAGL), having only participated in a few seasons. Though they have yet to win a season, they have placed above expectations and are therefore seen as a bit of a rising star.

Aren

Ardus is an “Aren”, which is an original alien species that are based on humanoid birds. Taking cues from some real world birds, female Aren are bigger and less colourful than their male counterparts. I’ve wondered if the significant sexual dimorphism makes it tough to be transgender in Aren society, as it would be hard to “pass” if you transitioned after puberty. I’ve come to the conclusion that the fictional galactic community have progressed past the need to pass, so trans Aren have less social pressure to do so - though I am sure that plenty of them would like to alter their appearance regardless.

Yeah, when I make an alien species, I do think about how queer shit applies to them. I am nothing if not consistent.
